Living your dream
Making a living doing something you love is the dream. You get to spend each day in your creative happy place, and at the end of the month you can pay your bills. Easy, right?
Let’s face it, as a creative solopreneur, you’re wearing a lot hats. Not only creating your awesome work, but often dealing with fulfilment, buying, book keeping, photography, customer service, and that largest of all hats, marketing! (It’s practically a balaclava).
This is where I see time and time again, artists pouring their time, money and creative energy into making content for social media that gets seen by a fraction of their followers and is constantly fighting against an ever changing algorithm.
But what if it didn’t have to be that way?

That’s where I come in:
I will craft you a digital space that attracts your ideal customers and grows alongside you, without having to battle the algorithm!
More about me
Hi, I’m Claire, UX designer and handmade enthusiast!
Do you need a hand with your handmade business? Then I’m so glad you found me because I’m itching to get started!
Where do you live? *
I live in Nova Scotia, but I’m originally from Lancashire in the UK (ey up, chuck!).
Have you always been a Web designer? *
Nope! I’ve worked in the handmade industry for twenty years, owning two handmade businesses - one printing and sewing homewares, the other designing digital knitting patterns. In 2022 I got diagnosed with ADHD at 38 years old and it pushed me to pursue something I never dreamed possible; A career in website design!
Where did you study web design? *
I went back to school to study UX/UI design with Google and recieved my UX Design Specialization certificate! I then invested in both the Standout Squarespace and Standout Shopify courses from Squarestylist to ensure I could design and build beautiful, user-friendly websites for my clients to use, and their customers to visit. Plus, coding is SUPER fun!
